Mosquito Line
Global warming is continuing to have an affect all over the world. The mosquito line is receding. The mosquito line is the altitude at whch mosquitoes cannot live above. Cities like Nairobi, Kenya were built above the mosquito line so they wouldn't be bothered by mosquitoes. However, with global warming, the mosquito line is rising, so mosquitoes are able to survive and bite people that they wouldn't normally be able to attack. This could spread malaria and West Nile virus into places where mosquitoes weren't even present before. This also causes a big problem because people above the mosquito line originally did not have an immunity to mosquito-borne viruses and bacteria, so they are more likely to contract the disease. Many people could die of these types of diseases.

really????????????????????????(I'm just on this site cause I'm bored)
me too
So, how high is the mosquito line now then? And how many millimetres lower was it a hundred years ago?
I had dengy once...
it's a disease spread by mosquitoes 2, some people die but I was lucky :)
Hi, turns out this 'mosquito line' nonsense is a total fiction. There was malaria in Nairobi 1927, a huge problem, and they were found twice as high up.

Seriously, I was just at 10,000 feet yesterday, and I was bitten several times... total BS. :)
